Each group ski holiday is accompanied by Single Parents on Holiday team members who will organise every aspect of your trip. For February half term 2022 we are returning  to the beautiful Ziller Valley in Tyrol.

Your Accommodation:

Join us at the superior 4-star Gartenhotel Crystal in the small, charming village of Fügen, the entrance to the Ziller Valley. Our hotel boasts fantastic facilities including a large indoor pool, spa with several saunas, large kids room, chill out area for teenagers, a cosy bar and a restaurant with wonderful views of the Ziller Valley Alps. The rooms are beautifully furnished and come with ensuite bathroom, radio, TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, telephone and safe deposit box. We offer this holiday on half board plus basis, with large breakfast buffet, après-ski snack with savoury dishes and cakes and 5-course dinner.

The Ski Resorts Spieljoch and Hochzillertal-Hochfügen:

Our hotel in Fügen is the perfect starting point for a family ski holiday. The cable car connecting you to the ski region of Spieljoch with 13 miles of slopes, 8 lifts and 2 magic carpets is just 300 metres away from our hotel. Additionally we will offer a complimentary shuttle exclusive for our single parent families to the amazing Hochzillertal-Hochfügen area with 50 miles of black, 250 miles of red and 100 miles of blue runs. Our Prices:

£1120 per adult and from £880 for the first child. Second children under 12 receive a 25% discount. Included in this price is half board accommodation, taxi or shuttle transfers from/to Innsbruck airport or shuttle transfers from/to Munich airport, use of all facilities at our 4-star hotel and services of our host(s)/ski guide(s). Your Single Parent Ski Holiday with Kids in Fügen:

At the entrance to the Ziller Valley you will find the ski regions of  Spieljoch, Hochfügen and Hochzillertal. Our hotel is only a 300 metre walk from the small Spieljoch ski region with 13 miles of slopes, 8 lifts and two magic carpets. The pistes are ideal for beginners, cruisers and families. In addition, we will offer an exclusive ski shuttle directly from our hotel to the amazing Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski region for any single parents or kids wanting to attend ski school and any intermediate and advanced skiers wanting to explore the large ski region, which consistently ranks amongst the top 20 in Europe. With 50 miles of black, 250 miles of red and 100 miles of blue runs, as well as amazing deep snow skiing, it offers a vast range of possibilities for skiers of all abilities. To ensure no one skis alone, your host will be there to ski and guide you down the slopes.

Why not try cross-country skiing, hiking through the mountains on foot or snow shoes or taking a romantic horse drawn carriage ride through the countryside? In addition, Fügen has a fantastic thermal spa in walking distance of our hotel, which is very popular with our single parents and kids, featuring indoor and outdoor pools heated by natural thermal springs, long slides and water chutes, a large kids area and a generously laid-out spa with a range of saunas.

About Fügen, Ziller Valley

The Ziller Valley

The Ziller Valley is surrounded by numerous three-thousand metre peaks offering a unique panorama. It is the world’s largest skiing valley and perfect for skiers of all abilities. Mayrhofen and the Hintertux are perhaps the best known ski resorts in the valley, but the Zillertal has so much more to offer. After extensive work in the 1990s, the Ziller Valley now consists of 7 connected valleys making up a huge ski area with a combined total of 390 miles of downhill slopes.

The Village of Fügen

The charming village of Fügen, located at 2,054 m and approximately 25 miles from Tyrol’s capital Innsbruck, is an ideal base for a family ski holiday. The bottom of the Spieljochbahn cable car is located in the centre of the village and takes skiers and snowboarders to the top of the Spieljoch mountain in just a matter of minutes. Even advanced skiers will enjoy the run down to Fügen – at 7 km the longest valley descent with snowmaking facilities in the Ziller Valley. A shuttle bus service also connects the resort of Fügen with the nearby much larger Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski region. Fügen has many shops, cafés and restaurants with authentic Tyrolean and European cuisine, as well as rustic ski lodges and après-ski bars. Ski school registration and ski hire are right next to our hotel.

"The February holiday in Fügen was our 4th trip with SPOH and probably the best so far. The hotel was very comfortable with superb facilities, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the food good. Sandra and Ian, of course, were excellent hosts. I couldn't have hand picked a better selection of guests; the whole group got on really well, nobody was left out and the children all mucked in as one happy family. Book your own flight from any airport in the UK and Ireland. Your airport transfers to/from your hotel are included in our prices if you arrive/depart on the advertised holiday dates. Please note that for this half term ski trip, we will arrange your transfer by:

  • shuttle or taxi from INNSBRUCK AIRPORT shared with other single parent families from our group if these arrive within 90 minutes of your arrival, or
  • shuttle from MUNICH AIRPORT (not exclusive for our families) departing within 90 minutes of your arrival

Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with the “The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018” all passengers booking with Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation invoice. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Single Parents on Holiday Ltd.
