The Iberostar Waves Las Dalias Hotel boasts fantastic facilities for all ages, including a large pool landscape with separate children’s pool, kids club, new teenage area, games zone, and a fitness room. Its prime location in Costa Adeje means that you are only a short walk away from several beaches, including Playa del Bobo and Puerto Colón, with its marina, yacht harbour, watersports, and floating obstacle course. Best of all, both Europe’s largest water park Siam Park and Aqualand, with its integrated Dolphinarium, are less than a 15-minute walk away whilst the San Eugenio Shopping Centre and dozens of restaurants and cafés are directly on your doorstep. Adults are £1290, the first child 12+ is £1090, the first child under 12 is £1040, and second children under 12 start at £690. Your holiday package includes all-inclusive accommodation in a double room, taxi transfers from/to Tenerife South Airport, and the services of one of our tour leaders. Not included are your flights. Programme

Kids and teenage facilities:

Our hotel has a kids club for 4 to 7 and 8 to 12 years olds, offering a fun programme including activities, such as Roomscape, Capture the Flag, Mission (Im)Possible, Large Scale Art, and Master Chef. The kids club is open every day in the mornings and afternoons. There is further a kids pool, playground, and mini disco to keep the little ones occupied on holiday.

For older children and teenagers there is an area for teens to hang out in, a games zone, and a range of sports available at our hotel, such as table tennis, archery, and Pétanque, as well as the daily sports and animation programme.

Sports and entertainment:

The daily sports and entertainment programme for adults and teenagers includes amongst others, darts, yoga, Pilates, fitness classes, water polo, aqua aerobics, Pétanque, water polo, bingo, pool tournaments, archery and much more. To round up the day, there are daily shows and live music to keep all ages entertained in the evenings.

Things to do in Tenerife:

There is much to do in Tenerife if you are interested in exploring this beautiful island, many of them in walking distance of our hotel. Your tour leader will be on hand to organise activities and excursions for the group. Top things to do with kids include:

  • a whale and dolphin watching boat trip from Puerto Colón
  • floating obstacles course and water sports in Puerto Colón
  • Teide National Park, a spectacular destination with its volcanic landscape, lava fields, and mountain scenery
  • Aqualand, a fantastic aqua park for all ages, with integrated Dolphinarium
  • Siam Park, Europe’s largest and consistently rated the best water park in the world on TripAdvisor
  • a ferry ride to La Gomera, famous for its beautiful lush vegetation, volcanic viewpoints, and traditional villages

About Tenerife

The volcanic island of Tenerife and Costa Adeje:

Tenerife is the largest and most populous island of the seven Canary Islands, 186 miles from the African coast. Berber migrants, known as the Guanches, arrived from North Africa around 500 BC, and this heritage still shows in place names, cave dwellings, and rural traditions. Tenerife was  eventually conquered by the Spanish 500 years ago. It is home to Mount Teide, Spain’s tallest peak and the third largest volcano in the world. Still classified as active, the volcano last erupted in 1909. Tenerife is referred to as ‘the Island of Eternal Spring’ due to its year-round warm temperatures and average of 300 days of sunshine per year.

Set against the impressive backdrop of Mount Teide, the coastal resort of Costa Adeje is located on Tenerife’s southwestern coast with its many high-end hotels, shops, and restaurants and lovely long sandy beaches. It boasts two aqua parks, Aqualand in walking distance of our hotel, and Siam Park, the largest water park in Europe. Costa Adeje is the ideal starting point to go on a boat trip to the neighbouring quieter island of La Gomera, or on one of the many whale and dolphin watching boat trips.

Financial Protection

Our Financial Protection Insurance

We, Single Parents on Holidays Limited, are committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to confirm to you that, in accordance with our obligations under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 No.684, we have purchased Travel Regulation Insolvency Protection Insurance in our name for your benefit. All passengers booking with Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation invoice. The policy will also include repatriation/continuation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel/accommodation arrangements due to the insolvency of Single Parents on Holiday Ltd.

This insurance policy has been arranged by Everywhen with AXA Insurance UK plc (the insurer). Please contact us if you require a copy of the policy wording.

In the unlikely event of the insolvency of Single Parents On Holiday Ltd. please follow the steps set out on our insurance page.
