February half-term ski holiday for single parent families

Join us in famous Kitzbühel, the world’s best ski resort, for your February half term ski holiday. We are excited to return to our fabulous 4-star family hotel just outside Kitzbühel for the sixth year running! As usual, our team members will be at the hotel organising every aspect of your 2026 single parent ski holiday to ensure everyone has company on and off the slopes.

Your 4-star family hotel:

We will stay at the family-friendly 4-star Lisi Family Hotel in Reith, just a few kilometres from the famous Austrian town of Kitzbühel and only a 5-minute drive away from the main cable car station. With great views of the Kitzbühel Horn and Wilder Kaiser mountains, our hotel offers everything our families could wish for on a single parent ski holiday: a large indoor pool, spa, purpose-built activity centre with trampoline, soft play area, slides, climbing wall, table tennis, and more. The activity centre is staffed with qualified childminders offering childcare 7 days a week from the age of 3, plus a daily activity programme for all ages. Our hotel also has a ski rental shop and ski cellar to store equipment.

The ski resort, Kitzbühel:

Kitzbühel in Austria has been voted the world’s best ski resort in 2024 for the 12th year running by testing portal Skiresort.info, which takes into account resort size, variety of slopes, lift system, and snow reliability, amongst many other criteria. State of the art cable cars and chair lifts, 200 days of reliable snow, the spectacularly steep Streif piste, and an innovative snowpark are just some aspects that make Kitzbühel stand out from the competition. Our prices:

£1980 per adult and from £1090 for the first child. Second children under 16 receive a 10% discount on the applicable child price. Prices include full-board accommodation in superior double rooms, airport transfers from/to Salzburg or Munich airport, and more (check prices). Not included are your flights, ski hire, lessons, and lift passes.

Programme

Family skiing in Kitzbühel

The entrance to the famous Kitzbühel-Kirchberg ski circuit, with the famous Streif downhill race, 188 km of perfectly prepared pistes for all abilities, and at least 57 modern lifts, is only 5 minutes’ drive from our hotel in Reith/Kitzbühel. For our families’ convenience, we have included a shuttle to the lifts on this single parent ski holiday.

Austria offers some of the best skiing in the world for beginners and advanced skiers, and its ski schools are renowned for their qualified instructors. You can choose between group and private lessons. Alternatively, any intermediate and advanced skiers can join their Single Parents on Holiday team member/s who will ski with all parents and older children, ensuring they have company on the slopes this February half term.

Other activities on offer in Kitzbühel:

There will be a range of other winter activities on offer to complement your single parent ski holiday, such as floodlit tobogganing for the daredevils amongst you (not recommended with young children!). You can also try out snowshoe hikes or cross-country skiing, or simply relax at the hotel’s spa with an indoor pool and a range of saunas while your child/ren have fun in the playhouse under the supervision of qualified childminders.

"I travelled to Kitzbuhel/Reith with my two daughters, Meadhbh (8) and Sadhbh (12). On arrival at the Hotel Lisi, we were warmly welcomed by two of our lovely hosts, Sandra & Will, who took our bags and organised a very stress free check in. The hotel was of a very high standard, very comfortable, extremely clean and had lovely spacious rooms.
Everything throughout the week was so well organised. On the day of arrival we were given our pre ordered ski passes and took a private shuttle to collect our ski equipment. Seeing as the hotel was a 5 minute drive from the cable car, a private shuttle transported us daily to and from the slopes. I have to compliment the exceptional instructors at the 'Snowsport Kirchberg' ski school who made our week of skiing such a rewarding and enoyable experience. The children were taken to lunch with their own instructors during their ski lessons which was great and as I was able to relax and enjoy the company of my own ski group during our break. The resort has a lovely mix of runs to accommodate skiing of all levels.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I signed up to this group holiday as it was a first for me. It can be a daunting experience as a single parent taking your kids on holiday but it was an absolute pleasure to be in the company and have the support of such a wonderful group of like minded single parents. The children thoroughly enjoyed making friends and spending time with the other children. A huge emphasis is placed on entertaining children at this hotel. They had freedom and independence to explore all the facilities and play in a very safe environment under the watchful eye of the amazing hotel staff.
I would highly recommend this ski trip and SPOH. A huge thank you to Sandra, Will & Ian for your wonderful organisation, support and company during our trip. You went above and beyond in making sure we all had a wonderful time. We have come away with wonderful memories and we definitely hope to join you all on another trip in the future. "

"I have booked the skiing holiday to Reith for my daughter and I. The main reason was to ensure other kids will be around for my daughter to play with after skiing and other adults to discuss with for my sanity. We had a fantastic time both on the slopes and in the evening. It was great for my daughter and I to go skiing with other parents & kids of the same level and to be able to retreat to the bar in the evening knowing my daughter was laughing with the other kids. "Another brilliant holiday with SPOH. Every year my daughter grows to love these holidays more, and in turn I get a well needed break. The children were all brilliant with each other, especially the older ones being inclusive towards to younger ones; there was a wonderful feeling of 'team' amongst the adults. Book your own flight from any airport in the UK or abroad. Your airport transfers to/from your hotel are included in our prices if you arrive/depart on the advertised holiday dates. We will arrange your transfer by:

  • taxi from SALZBURG AIRPORT shared with other single parent families from our group if these arrive within 90 minutes of your arrival, or shuttle (not exclusive for our families) – 75 km to Reith/Kitzbühel
  • shuttle from MUNICH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (FRANZ JOSEF STRAUSS AIRPORT) (not exclusive for our families) departing within 60 minutes of your arrival – 156 km to Reith/Kitzbühel

We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with the “The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018” all passengers booking with Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation invoice. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Single Parents on Holiday Ltd.
