Come and join us on a single parent ski holiday in Austria’s Stuben, one of 7 villages that make up “Ski Arlberg”, not only one of the most exclusive but also one of the largest ski regions in the world. This holiday will be hosted by a Single Parents on Holiday team member, who will organise every aspect of your trip and ski with those families not joining ski school.

Your boutique hotel:

We will stay at the superior 3-star hotel Arlberg Stuben with only 19 rooms, so the hotel will feel like a home from home. Our hotel is located in the small village of Stuben, directly opposite the cable car station Albona 1, the entry to the Arlberg ski region. The ski school meeting point and T-bar lift are right next to our hotel. This single parent ski holiday is offered on half board basis, including a lovely breakfast, après ski snack, and 3-course dinner with vegetarian and kids options. Our friendly and comfortable hotel has a small spa with sauna and steam room, an outdoor jacuzzi, and a room for the kids.

Located at 1,400 m, in the heart of the vast Arlberg ski region, Stuben is the perfect destination for an April ski break. Thanks to the direct connection to several neighbouring ski areas, including Lech-Zürs and St. Anton, skiers can enjoy a total of 305 km of perfectly groomed pistes and 88 state of the art lifts. Our prices:

Prices include half-board accommodation, airport transfers from/to Innsbruck or Zürich airport and the services of our team member(s) who will organise lift passes, ski hire, and ski lessons and offer company on and off the slopes. Programme

Easter skiing in Stuben am Arlberg:

Stuben is a small village in the heart of Austria’s largest ski region, “Ski Arlberg“: Directly north of Stuben, you will find Zürs and Lech, with St. Anton and St. Christoph just south. Together with Warth-Schröcken, these ski resorts are connected to form more than 300 perfectly groomed slopes. A wide choice of blue, red, and black runs makes Ski Arlberg the perfect destination for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.

The area has long enjoyed one of the best snow records in Austria, with the highest slopes reaching more than 2,800 m, making Stuben the perfect choice for Easter skiing. Stuben village is located at 1,400 m, with the T-bar lift and ski school meeting point literally next door to our hotel, whilst the cable car Albona 1, your entry to the Ski Arlberg region, is right opposite our hotel.

Other things to do around Stuben:

If you want to complement your ski holiday with other winter sports, you could try out flood lit tobogganing in nearby St. Anton. The 4 km long toboggan run on the Gampen in St. Anton is open two evenings a week and a fun evening for all ages!

There is also a wonderful leisure pool in St. Anton, with heated indoor and outdoor pools, a baby pool, and a spa area with a wide choice of saunas.

Alternatively, why not try out ice skating or curling? There is plenty of choice with the Monzabon indoor ice rink in Lech and outdoor skating rinks in both Zürs and St. Anton. Naturally, curling is also available at all indoor and outdoor ice rinks. Another fun winter activity would be a snowshoe hike through the wonderful winter landscape or cross country skiing. Nearby Lech also offers itself for a stroll to check out the sports, souvenir, and fashion shops, or one of the lovely cafés and bars in the village for an après ski drink.

About Stuben am Arlberg

Stuben am Arlberg in Austria:

Stuben is a small ski resort in the famous Arlberg region in western Austria. The region is seen as the pioneer of winter sports by many, as locals held the first ski lessons for guests here in 1906, and the first lift was built as early as 1937.

Today, the region is known as one of the world’s elite winter sports destinations, with many luxury hotels, trendy bars, and gourmet restaurants in St. Anton and beyond. For the past few years, Stuben has been connected to the neighbouring villages of Lech, Zürs, St. Christoph, and St. Anton via the Albona and Flexenbahn cable cars, giving visitors access to the entire Ski Arlberg region. The area is renowned for its excellent snow record, which is due to both the altitude of its slopes and its microclimate, favourable for snowfall.

Stuben itself is a tiny village and notably quieter than other resorts in the Arlberg area. It’s the perfect base for both beginner skiers with the ski school next door and advanced skiers looking for a vast ski region to explore. The neighbouring villages are only a bus ride away, so you can easily explore the luxurious resort of Lech or the buzzy resort of St Anton, with its many après ski bars.

  • shuttle or shared taxi from/to INNSBRUCK AIRPORT (approx. 110 km from our hotel), or
  • shuttle from/to ZÜRICH AIRPORT not exclusive for our group and at designated times (approx. 185 km from our hotel).

We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with the “The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018” all passengers booking with Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation invoice. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Single Parents on Holiday Ltd.
