With its diverse landscape, Dalaman in the Province of Muğla is one of the prettiest parts of Turkey. Join us on the “Turquoise Coast” this summer and soak up the sun on Dalaman’s dark golden beaches against a scenic backdrop of pine-clad hills and imposing mountains. Our single parent group holiday in Turkey will be accompanied by one of our team members and is ideal for anyone seeking exceptional family facilities, including two luxurious spas, 4 fabulous kids clubs, two water parks for all ages, and a wide range of water sports directly on the hotel’s private beach.

We will stay at one of the most family-friendly hotels in Turkey, the 5-star Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf, frequent winner of TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice award with a current rating of 4.7! This fabulous hotel enjoys a stunning location overlooking the Dalaman River and the Mediterranean Sea. Its facilities are outstanding and include several family, adult, and kids pools and two aquaparks with a total of 8 slides, a private sandy beach with pier, kids and teenage clubs for different age groups, 4 tennis courts, crazy golf, a little farm, a state of the art gym, and two luxurious spas. In addition to the main buffet restaurant, there are 6 à la carte restaurants at our hotel to ensure a variety of dining experiences. Thanks to the hotel’s prime location along the river and the seafront, there are numerous water sports available on the Dalaman river and the private 650-metre long beach.

Things to do:

The choice of things to do at our hotel alone is huge! You can book scuba diving lessons, play tennis, join daily bike tours, go kayaking on the river, or enjoy water sports at the beach, including banana boat rides, flying sofas, jet skiing, and parasailing. In addition, you can book canoeing/kayaking or SUP on the Dalaman River. Aside from watersports, the hotel offers separate activity programmes for different age groups. Your SPoH tour leader will also be on hand to organise activities and day trips. Popular destinations include Turtle Beach, the Dalyan Mud Baths, the 12-island tour, the market in Fethiye, and the Ölüdeniz Blue Lagoon. Prices can be found here and start at £1690 per adult and £1290 for the first child. Note that your holiday package includes ultra all-inclusive accommodation, the services of one of our Single Parents on Holiday tour leaders, tourist tax, and taxi transfers to/from Dalaman airport. Not included are your flights.

Things to do

Kids & teenage clubs:

The Hilton Dalaman has excellent kids facilities, with kids and teenage clubs for different age groups: Clubs that include supervision by a staff member for 6.5 hours during the day and two hours in the evenings are the Speedy Club for 3 to 4 year olds, and the Groovy Club / Cool Kids for 5 to 10 year olds, which have their own club rooms and programme. Activities (depending on age) may include visits of the hotel’s farm, kite making, kids Pilates, crazy golf, explorer activities, treasure hunts, football, movies, pebble painting, etc. Kids under 3 years old can use the Happy Babies club with their parents.

There is also the Youngster Club for 10 to 15 year olds which is super vised by a coach and open for 6.5 hours during the day and three hours in the evenings. The Youngsters can hang out in the outdoor club room until 11 pm or participate in the club programme  with activities like water polo, tennis, archery, darts, crazy golf, tennis, football, night basketball, cocktail making, pizza parties, etc.

Sports, spa & entertainment:

There is plenty to do at the hotel, with a daily sports programme, including bike tours, yoga, Pilates, aerobics, spinning, aqua aerobics, pool Zumba, darts, football, crazy golf, tennis, basketball, and volleyball and water sports on the beach. For those who wish to keep up their exercise regime, there is a modern fitness room with free weights and cardio equipment. If you prefer to take it easy, visit the free Byblis spa, with heated indoor and kids pools, steam room, Roman bath, and sauna. Massages and treatments can be booked at the Elysion spa (adults only and subject to a local surcharge), which also has a Turkish Hammam and Ozone Sauna.

In the evenings, our single parent families can dine together in the main restaurant or one of the à la carte restaurants, followed by downtime in one of the countless bars. The hotel also puts on plenty of live music performances and evening shows, whilst the kids have their own discos and evening programme giving our solo parents a chance to truly relax!

Excursions and activities:

Your SPoH tour leader will help organise trips for those who wish to explore their surroundings. Sarigerme village, with its countless shops and restaurants, is only a short taxi ride away. Further afield, you will find the rejuvenating Dalyan Mud Baths, Turtle Beach, the market town of Fethiye, and the Blue Lagoon of Ölüdeniz. One of the most popular trips is the 12-island tour from Göcek harbour, with stops for swimming in beautiful bays. If you don’t mind travelling a little further, book a trip to Pamukkale for a chance to see the surreal white travertine pools and the ancient city of Hierapolis,  together one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

About Dalaman, Muğla

Dalaman in Turkey’s Muğla Province:

Dalaman is a district on the southwestern coast of Turkey in the Muğla Province. Its diverse landscape is beautiful, with coastal plains transitioning into forested hills and mountains, with the Dalaman Stream (also known as the Dalaman River) and its tributaries meandering through its valleys. Charming villages and luxury resorts can be found throughout the coastal region, and there’s a typically Turkish feel wherever you go.

There are many popular places worth visiting in the area, notably Fethiye, a market town famous for the Lycian Rock Tombs, which were carved into the hillside around 2,500 years ago. South of Fetiye, you will find Ölüdeniz beach and its famed Blue Lagoon. Although a protected national park, you are allowed to paddle and swim in the calm, shallow waters of the lagoon. Further north is the laid back town of Dalyan. Across its river you can spot the ruins of the ancient city of Kaunos, which was constructed on terraces. You can still see the remains of a theatre and the Lycian tombs carved into the rock, the final resting place of the local Lycians. Another ancient site of Lycia in the area is Myra, once one of its most important towns and home to St. Nicholas. Today, Myra is an impressive open air museum and archaeological site. Halfway between Fethiye and Myra lies the 17-mile long and often submerged Saklikent Gorge.

Our hotel enjoys a prime position directly on the beach, at the exact point where the the Dalaman Stream flows into the Mediterranean Sea. Airport transfers:

Your airport transfers are included in your holiday price if you arrive/depart on our advertised holiday dates: On this holiday, this means, you will be picked up from Dalaman Airport by taxi and taken directly to your hotel where your tour leader will welcome you. Your return transfer is also included in our price. Please note that you might share your airport transfers with other single parent families in our group (short waiting times might apply). Our hotel is only 20 km away from the airport.

We, Single Parents on Holidays Limited, are committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to confirm to you that, in accordance with our obligations under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 No.684, we have purchased Travel Regulation Insolvency Protection Insurance in our name for your benefit. All passengers booking with Single Parents on Holiday Ltd. are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation invoice. The policy will also include repatriation/continuation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel/accommodation arrangements due to the insolvency of Single Parents on Holiday Ltd.
