Brenta Dolomites (Italy Skiing)

Solo skiing in Italy’s Brenta Dolomites:

Our group will stay in the small village of Folgarida, which is part of the Brenta Dolomites ski circuit, which includes the famous Madonna di Campiglio resort. The ski region is known as the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta or Dolomiti di Brenta and encompasses the ski resorts of Folgarida, Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio, and Pinzolo, which total 156 kilometres of slopes and reach an altitude of 2,500 m. The ski region offers a wide variety of runs for all levels and you can ski the entire resort without ever taking your skis off. Folgarida-Marilleva alone has 26 modern ski lifts and 62 km of blue, red and black runs. Our hotel in Folgarida is only a short walk through the forest from the nearest piste or a 10-minute walk/short shuttle ride to the cable car station Belvedere.

Other things to do in Folgarida and Val di Sole:

Folgarida is also well known for its 45 km of cross-country tracks. In addition, you could book a guided snowshoe hike through the forest with views of the surrounding Dolomites. Another wonderful experience is the thermal spa of Pejo, famous for its healing thermal water and spa area. The thermal spa can be reached by bus or taxi in approx. half an hour.

We also recommend a visit of the neighbouring resort of Madonna di Campiglio, with its many shops, bars and restaurants, which can be reached by taxi or bus in approx. 15 minutes. And for anyone who just wants to relax after a day on the piste, our hotel has its own spa and indoor pool.

The resort Folgarida in Val di Sole in the Brenta Dolomites:

Folgarida is a small, attractive resort in the municipality of Dimaro-Folgarida in the Trentino region of northern Italy in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. Thanks to the lift connection between Folgarida, Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio, and Pinzolo, you will have access to a huge ski area right until late spring without ever having to take your skis off. 95% of runs have artificial snow systems, and you can ski the whole area with one lift pass. The ski region is part of the Skirama Adamello Brenta, one of the most important ski circuits south of the Alps.

The scenery here is absolutely stunning and can also be enjoyed off-piste on winter walks and guided snowshoe hikes.

It goes without saying that the South Tyrol Trentino region offers fantastic cuisine, influenced by their Italian and Austrian heritage. Charming mountain huts and restaurants offer authentic Trentino dishes, as well as new creations of classic dishes reinterpreted with flair.

If you fancy a little après skiing before heading back to our hotel, you can try Bar El Mas at the end of your descent to the Belvedere cable car. For livelier après ski venues, try Lab or Ober1 in the village of Madonna di Campiglio, or Chalet Spinale at the bottom of the Monte Spinale station.
